What Every 30-Something Should Have for Skincare

A general rule of thumb is once you hit 30 you should focus on medical-grade skincare and SPF. Ideally we could get everyone >18 years old to take great care of their skin, but that's a hard buy-in for those college kids! Medical-grade skincare, like Revision, is pricey! For this reason, we will show you a very basic skincare regimen that everyone should have. If you have specific issues you would like to address or gaps in your current regimen we can show you what product(s) will help fill that gap. This is a general regimen suggestion that will get your skin clear, glowing, and healthy.

1) An all-purpose cleanser, suitable for twice daily use, leaves all skin feeling soft, clean, and moisture balanced. **If you are blemish prone, consider the Brightening Facial Wash which contains Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids.**

2) A vitamin C antioxidant blend (lotion, not serum) that brightens, improves skin tone, firms skin, defends against and corrects the skin-damaging effects of free radicals. This is an extremely well tolerated form of Vitamin C (THD Ascorbate vs Ascorbic Acid), with the highest percentage currently available on the market. It is tolerated by all skin types.

3) Intensive nighttime moisturizer that features a unique combination of time-released 0.25% Retinol and plant-based Bakuchiol in a hydrating, antioxidant-rich formula that minimizes irritation and can be used on all skin types to rejuvenate and reveal new, younger-looking skin. DEJ Night visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, helps to visibly improve the elasticity of sagging skin, corrects overall photodamage and shields against further environmental damage. It also improves skin texture and the appearance of pore size.

4) This 5-in-1 anti-aging moisturizer helps to correct, protect, conceal, brighten and hydrate skin to deliver clinically-proven results. It contains 20 anti-aging ingredients and is 100% mineral sunscreen (versus chemical). This product is great for preventing melasma, has a sheer tint, and contains SPF 45! Daily SPF >40 in Texas is the #1 way to combat aging skin.
